What is a NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) Inspection?
A NACE inspection reviews various coatings on structures, pipelines, refineries, water tanks, military installations, natural gas facilities, wastewater utilities, underground structure and shipyard structures, to name just a few.

What Is Non-Destructive Testing?
Non-destructive testing is a process that allows evaluation of a a material, system or component for characteristics or defects without damaging the part. These tests may includes x-ray interpretation, magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant inspection, ultrasonic testing, eddy current, positive material identification (PMI), leak testing, pneumatic testing and hydrostatic testing.

What is Positive Material Indentification? (PMI)
Equipment and materials used in critical applications are carefully designed and specified to insure safety and reliability. Unfortunately, the actual finished product does not conform to the purchase specification. An alloy analyzer is used to identify more than 400 commonly used alloys by type or name. By x-ray fluorescence, the analyzer determines the concerntrrtation of 21 critical elements with precision ranging from 0.1% to .5%.
